Cloud Niners Mango

Cloud Niners Mango – Review

I will do my best to give my most unbiased opinion for Cloud Niners Mango. Said opinion is mine and mine alone as taste is subjective. Because of that reason I do not rate flavors on a scale but rather remark on the taste and quality so the readers can reach their own decision on whether they want to purchase the flavor or not. As always, read the warning signs on the labels, keep liquids away from children and practice safe vaping.

Cloud Niners Mango

Hey everyone. ever since the FDA announced their draconian regulations all you can see on the internet is vapers fighting back and most companies offering absurd sales. Vapers in Pakistan aren’t worried as much because while the measures may cause a lot of the vendors who exclusively import US flavors to go out of business, it will not have an impact on the companies that locally blend their flavors from US ingredients. The ingredients wont be regulated in case you were wondering, it will be the finished product. A rising trend seen here is that vendors are turning to the Malaysian ecig market, considered to be Asia’s largest vaping market, to import new flavors. Recently though the market there has come under attack after the Government there clubbed vaping in with smoking. Religious verdicts and crackdowns followed soon thereafter and the market over there started looking to foreign markets to sell their flavors.

E-Lite and Whitemist have started selling Malaysian flavors in Pakistan and so far the ones I have reviewed (Elite Strapple and Strablack) were chock full of numbing koolada which incidentally tasted great in this summer heat unless you chain vaped or subohmed them. Cloud Niner Mango is a cloud chasing flavor I have been told which explains why it is only available in 3 mg and a fixed ratio of 70% VG/30% PG. The promise is that it does not carry the traditional high menthol/koolada kick found in Malaysian flavors. Hopefully that will be the case because cloud chasing (deep inhales) is not enjoyable when you get brain freeze. The flavor is pretty obvious given its name and true to it, it does smell like a juicy mango i.e. sweet and pleasing. Malaysian flavors are known for their accurate fruit emulation and I feel this wont be any different. Chalk it up to the water based flavorings they use but their fruit flavors do taste amazing if they dont give you a menthol headache in the process.

                     Lower watts

The flavor is very pleasing at this wattage range with the mango coming through very nicely. A delectable sweetness that mangoes are famous for comes with full force and the juicy mango flavor hits your tongue leaving you with a very pleasing mango after taste. Thankfully the promise of low koolada is true as I was able to take longer inhales and even chain vape for longer before it got too much for me. The flavor is similar to Slice juice, you know, the mango flavored juice that is so popular in Pakistan.

Higher watts

Very juicy and tasty, a proverbial mango explosion in the mouth. The koolada may be on the low side but it does rise strongly when high watt cloud chasing is attempted. I was able to take only one huge hit off it before the familiar icy throat sensation forced me to pause for a bit. This tastes exactly like a ice cold glass of Slice juice and I am impressed. As usual I had my panel of tasters also check out the flavor without any hints as to what the flavor held. Needless to say everyone found it absurdly easy to identify mango as the prime ingredient and upon a few inhales half of them linked the taste to Slice juice while the other half nodded in approval when when asked if it tasted similar to it.

Final Thoughts on Cloud Niners Mango

Throat Hit: 9/10 – Non-existent which is why this flavor got high marks in this category. 3 mg usually is smooth but the inclusion of menthol and/or koolada usually presents itself in the form of a kick which was absent here. The koolada however, is still strong enough to give icy throats to the deep inhaling cloud chasers which is why I have struck off a point.

Smell: 10/10 – Top marks in the smell department because the mango smells amazing and that was the consensus.

Flavor Accuracy: 10/10 – As far as accuracy goes this flavor is spot on with the mango. True to Malaysian form it gives an amazingly juicy mango flavor that leaves you coming back for more.

Cloud Niner Mango tastes like a cold glass of slice

The menthol is not annoying as much as it is refreshing and I credit that advantage to the hot weather. I actually enjoyed vaping Cloud Niner Mango on different setups because the flavor is really tasty. Even though the koolada can get too much on deeper inhales it is not a major concern because the flavor is more than tasty even on shorter inhales. Considering that you get 55 ml for just Rs. 2,4oo/- I am impressed with the price and dont have any qualms on shelling out cash for that much juice. I will leave you with this, with Ramazan almost upon us, this flavor, for me, will be the perfect after Iftar vape.
