With the heat wave giving us Karachiites no quarter, I felt t’was time to vape some koolada laced flavors to beat the heat and I was lucky enough to have handy some Hustler Bold from the new line Rockstar Vapor Co has been promoting. Malaysian flavors are known for their love of koolada and/or menthol with unnervingly accurate emulation of fruits in their flavors. The one question I get asked the most is which mango flavor do I consider is the best. Well, it boils down to two things that you need to ponder on to get the answer i.e. 1. What level of koolada are you ok with? & 2. What tank are you going to be vaping on? The mango flavors are mostly all on point so taste wise the question boils down to what variation do you prefer as the aforementioned questions are the major deal makers/breakers. Anyway, Hustler Bold as you might have guessed is a mango flavor made at a 60Vg 40Pg blend and I am going to try and compare it with the mango based Malaysian flavors I have vaped and reviewed in the past.
*Hustler Bold from Rockstar Vapor Co – 3 mg*
Two RDAs with a single and dual coils each.
Two RTAs with a single and dual coils each.
All setups use Rayon as I find that gives a cleaner taste with a short break in time.
Coils are everything from standard coils to fancy juggernaut coils.
Lower watts (Below 4v)
For those of you on a:
RTA/RDA/RDTA = Expect soft notes of mango with rapid koolada effect.
Conclusion: At this range the flavor is sweet, there is a nice soft mango flavor that intermingles with koolada nicely BUT the flavor doesn’t manage to deliver on the mango juiciness at this range.
Higher watts (Above 4v)
For those of you on a:
RTA = Expect varying tones of mango. A little bit sourness that mixes very nicely with the sweetness and koolada to make a complete mango package.
RDA/RDTA = Expect a similar taste as mentioned in the RTA section but I was please to discover the koolada stayed within tolerable limits and the flavor left a nice mango after note/aftertaste that hit the spot. The RTA did not give me this taste probably because I did not push it too high on the wattage scale.
Conclusion: Koolada increase was the primary worry at these ranges but the flavor pulled it off with multiple mango notes and a tolerable koolada increase.

In case some of you are new and dont know what nicotine strength to get just go through the list below and decide. Not every flavor is available in every nicotine strength however and the best way to find out is to ask the vendor. This list will be present in every review from now on regardless of whether or not that flavor comes in the listed strengths. The strengths do not mean MG per bottle but rather MG per ML.
- None = 0 mg.
- Very Smooth = 1.5mg (Direct lung vaping/Subohming territory).
- Soft = 3mg (Direct lung vaping/Subohming territory).
- Light = 6mg is approx equivalent to smoking 10 light cigarettes a day.
- Medium = 12mg is where MTL territory starts and this strength is best for a half a pack – a pack a day smokers.
- Strong = 18mg should be used by people who find 12mg too less or who smoked a pack of hard cigarettes a day.
- Very Strong = 24mg is not usually available in the market but some local blenders might make a custom strength flavor for you on request. Bear in mind this is a very high level of nicotine and usually 18mg does the trick. In case you are wondering, this is best for chain smokers and/or those that smoke a couple of packs a day of hard cigarettes.
Final Thoughts on Hustler Bold
Throat Hit : The higher the score, the smoother the flavor.
10/10 – No harshness with koolada in the corner.
Flavor Accuracy: A high score here means that the flavor’s taste matches the manufacturer’s claimed flavor description. Basically if it says its mango cream and tastes like mango cream then it gets a 10.
10/10 – “Hustler Juice Bold is a rich and succulent blend of three different types of tropical mango that will enrich your taste buds with Malaysia’s tropical splendour.” Well, multiple mangoes are there, I say that because of the different notes i.e. slight sourness and good amount of sweet mango tones. It is certainly more complex than cloud niner or horny mango if that is what you are looking for. Can you vape this on a powerful tank like the TFV8 or TFV12 or Crown III? I wouldnt think so but then again it depends on your level of tolerance.
Go for it: If you like mango flavors, If you like sweet flavors, If you have love horny mango, cloud niner mango and any of the other mango flavors.
Note: The flavor like most malaysian flavors will gunk up your coil fast. I noticed rapid caramalization and discoloration of and on the wick with 10ml of usage. This flavor would be best vaped in rebuildables to save on coil costs.
