Refreshing by SVRF from Artisan Vapor

I have heard about the SVRF line for some time now and finally got to try it out at the Artisan Vape meet in Karachi a few days back where I coincidentally ended up winning a lucky draw. You can guess which flavor I picked out. The flavor description of Refreshing by SVRF kind of resembled the one for Alpha King hence I wanted to see how it compared. Oh, yes, I would also like to add that Artisan is the Exclusive distributor for the SVRF line and the flavor box had on a shiny sticker making that point.

Testing setups

*Refreshing by SVRF – 3 mg*

Two RDAs with a single and dual coils each.

Two RTAs with a single and dual coils each.

All setups use Rayon as I find that gives a cleaner taste with a short break in time.

Coils are everything from standard coils to fancy juggernaut coils.

Lower watts (Below 4v)

For those of you on a:

RTA =Expect soft papaya notes at the start ending with a blend of juicy melon and sweet mango.

RDA/RDTA = Expect soft floral and fruity notes with a very light touch of citrus. That is the best way to describe what I tasted as lower watts didnt held the rda and rdta tanks to bring out the flavor.

Conclusion: I did not imagine the flavor to be so aromatic at this range. The flavors are mixed together well enough that it can sometimes be hard to decide where one starts and the other begins.

Higher watts (Above 4v)

For those of you on a:

RTA = Expect papaya and melon to start you off with sweet mango bringing you to the finish line.

RDA/RDTA = Expect the fruits here to be so perfectly mixed that it feels like a sweet fruity explosion ending on a very satisfying hit provided by a hint of citrus.

Conclusion: This is where the flavor truly shone for me. What a perfect mix of tropical flavors without even a hint of harshness, Smooth all the way and oh so tasty.

Nicotine Ratios

In case some of you are new and dont know what nicotine strength to get just go through the list below and decide. Not every flavor is available in every nicotine strength however and the best way to find out is to ask the vendor. This list will be present in every review from now on regardless of whether or not that flavor comes in the listed strengths. The strengths do not mean MG per bottle but rather MG per ML.

  • None = 0 mg.
  • Very Smooth = 1.5mg (Direct lung vaping/Subohming territory).
  • Soft = 3mg (Direct lung vaping/Subohming territory).
  • Light = 6mg is approx equivalent to smoking 10 light cigarettes a day.
  • Medium = 12mg is where MTL territory starts and this strength is best for a half a pack – a pack a day smokers.
  • Strong = 18mg should be used by people who find 12mg too less or who smoked a pack of hard cigarettes a day.
  • Very Strong = 24mg is not usually available in the market but some local blenders might make a custom strength flavor for you on request. Bear in mind this is a very high level of nicotine and usually 18mg does the trick. In case you are wondering, this is best for chain smokers and/or those that smoke a couple of packs a day of hard cigarettes.

Final Thoughts on Refreshing by SVRF

Throat Hit : The higher the score, the smoother the flavor.

10/10 – This is what you want from a flavor carrying fruits that have a history of being harsh in some flavors. It is smooth on the inhale and exhale!

Flavor Accuracy: A high score here means that the flavor’s taste matches the manufacturer’s claimed flavor description. Basically if it says its mango cream and tastes like mango cream then it gets a 10.

10/10 – “Refreshing by SVRF E-Liquid is perfect for a pick me up, blending papaya, mango, and cantaloupe for an exotic fruity mix.” I don’t know about it being a pick me up but it has all of my favorite tropical fruits mixed in and that too in perfect ratios. Papaya provides the floral notes, mango gives it the sweetness and body while cantaloupe is just the fruit to provide a bridge for them to merge together into a concoction that managed to knock Alpha King off my radar! Also add to the fact that the citrus component in Alpha King can get too overwhelming and put off people. I bought a 120ml bottle of Alpha king last year and only just managed to finish it all compared to SVRF Refreshing which has only 10 ml remaining out of the 60ml it was when I won it.refreshing by svrfGo for it: If you like fruit flavors, If you like tropical fruity blends, If you like Alpha King.

The views expressed above are my own and based on my personal experience and knowledge accumulated over the years I have spent vaping. They are to be taken as it is i.e. an opinion and do not represent anything else. I received the flavor Refreshing by SVRF from Artisan Vapor for my personal opinion/review and I have done my best without any bias whatsoever. As always remember taste is subjective and please practice safe vaping.
