Anyone who vapes in Pakistan has one time or another vaped Malaysian flavors and whenever one thinks of those koolada/menthol laced fruit flavors the one brand that pops up in their head is NASTY. Yeah, it fast went from being joked about to a very, if not one of the most, respected brands out of Malaysia. It even collaborated with the famous KILO brand to launch a collaborative series but we arent here to talk about those. The newest line up they have released is called the Nasty Ballin line up which as far as I know is because it has two metal balls inside each bottle. Is it just something to make it stand out or does it serve a purpose? The concept behind the balls are that it mimics the cocktail shakers meaning the flavor is mixed faster. Of course this does not apply much to the Nasty Ballin flavor because by the time you buy it it will already be steeped properly. This ballin feature will come in handy for vapers who DIY as they can use these bottles to mix their concoctions but it remains to be seen whether the feature makes a difference or not. Anyway, I digress, we are here to review Passion Killa which Artisan Islamabad was very gracious to send me along with my order of Dewberry Cream.
*Nasty Ballin Passion Killa from Artisan – 6 mg*
Two RDAs with a single and dual coils each.
All setups use Rayon as I find that gives a cleaner taste with a short break in time.
Coils are everything from standard coils to fancy fused clapton coils and when possible Coils by Afzal Hanif.
Lower watts (Below 4v)
Here I got a mild aromatic fruity blast laced with sufficient menthol. Fans of soft fruity menthol flavors will like it. However, no single fruit stands out.
Conclusion: Low wattage vapers will be pleased to know that the flavor performs/delivers very well at this range. Nicely done, Nasty!
Higher watts (Above 4v)
Ramping up the wattage results in slightly increased notes of now noticeable passion fruit and menthol but the latter is not overpowering. The overall effect is that it tastes slightly tart yet aromatic because of the taste of tropical fruits that arrives with a decent level of menthol.
Conclusion: The noticeable appearance of passion fruit here causes a slight rise in tartness but otherwise the experience remains the same as in low watts.

In case some of you are new and dont know what nicotine strength to get just go through the list below and decide. Not every flavor is available in every nicotine strength however and the best way to find out is to ask the vendor. This list will be present in every review from now on regardless of whether or not that flavor comes in the listed strengths. The strengths do not mean MG per bottle but rather MG per ML.
- None = 0 mg.
- Very Smooth = 1.5mg (Direct lung vaping/Subohming territory).
- Soft = 3mg (Direct lung vaping/Subohming territory).
- Light = 6mg is approx equivalent to smoking 10 light cigarettes a day.
- Medium = 12mg is where MTL territory starts and this strength is best for a half a pack – a pack a day smokers.
- Strong = 18mg should be used by people who find 12mg too less or who smoked a pack of hard cigarettes a day.
- Very Strong = 24mg is not usually available in the market but some local blenders might make a custom strength flavor for you on request. Bear in mind this is a very high level of nicotine and usually 18mg does the trick. In case you are wondering, this is best for chain smokers and/or those that smoke a couple of packs a day of hard cigarettes.
Final Thoughts on Passion Killa
Throat Hit : The higher the score, the smoother the flavor.
10/10 – Brilliant, very smooth even for 6mg but then again that is pretty much the standard for Malaysian Menthol flavors!
Flavor Accuracy: A high score here means that the flavor’s taste matches the manufacturer’s claimed flavor description. Basically if it says its mango cream and tastes like mango cream then it gets a 10.
08/10 – “A triple up passion fruit taste does SAY it all. Blend all together too sooth all the original taste of fragrantly sweet taste with a pleasantly tart tang and are very juicy. A tropical fruit can give a killer kick.” The only dispute I have with this is saying triple up passion fruit when it pales in comparison to a non tripled up passion fruit based flavor like POG. This flavor works however as I have had people try it and almost everyone is amazed at the fragrant tropical flavor with just the right amount of Tanginess. I must admit that I was underwhelmed at first but as I continued to vape it I steadily came to see how good it is. First of all, I dont think it uses koolada because there was no brain freeze effect so that is a huge plus, secondly the flavor did not gunk up my coils even after downing a whole 60ml bottle.
Go for it: If you like menthol flavors, If you like tropical fruity blends.
Before ending the review I need to get something off my chest to better the review. See, this flavor fails to have any one fruit stand out, it literally is a passion killa because it never let passion fruit come alive. It’s a mild flavor with a brilliant mixed tropical fruit blend that has a tolerable level of menthol meaning you cant tell individual fruits apart so easily, at least I cant. Keep in mind that anyone who has vaped Hawaiian POG Ice and goes in expecting a similar level of flavor and experience here will be disappointed. Dont compare the two because despite some similarities they are very different. One delivers a cool and intense tropical fruit hit while the other offers a mild fragrant/aromatic take on tropical fruits and menthol that might just be a hit with people who found POG and POG Ice too strong/intense.
