Heisenberg

Heisenberg by Vampire Vapes – Review

Heisenberg by Vampire Vapes has many laurels to rest on and the hype in Pakistan has only increased ever since images of vampire vapes flavors have cropped up on PVC. There was a bit of confusion regarding this flavor and a variation being offered by a locally opened UK franchise. The vampire vapes Heisenberg is the original and you can find many other vendors internationally have tried to either copy the flavor or make their own variations of it. Not necessarily bad as you can improve on the original depending on where your tastes lie. Anyway, I have one last point to make before I start the review and that is the blue coloring, while it looks cool and is a play on the whole breaking bad Heisenberg blue meth being 90 something percent pure, I would have preferred no coloring but that’s just my opinion.

Testing setups

*Heisenberg by Vampire Vapes  – 3 mg*

Two RDAs with a single and dual coils each.

All setups use Rayon as I find that gives a cleaner taste with a short break in time.

Coils are everything from standard coils to fancy fused clapton coils and when possible Coils by Afzal Hanif.

Lower watts (Below 4v)

Prepare for a strong menthol hit followed by a sweet berry like fruit taste coupled with something like saunf or aniseed.

Conclusion: Tasting something like saunf was a surprise and fyi this doesnt taste like any berry based menthol you have tried yet. It is completely different.

Heisenberg

Higher watts (Above 4v)

Here you will get a rude shock reminding you of those koolada based Malaysian flavors as the menthol hit becomes very high right at the start with an even sweeter berrylike taste following soon after. Aniseed/saunf is relegated to aftertaste status at this range.

Conclusion: Highly likely no-one will try regularly vp

Pricing

Not available in Pakistan at the moment. Only choice for now is make an international order.

Nicotine Ratios

In case some of you are new and dont know what nicotine strength to get just go through the list below and decide. Not every flavor is available in every nicotine strength however and the best way to find out is to ask the vendor. This list will be present in every review from now on regardless of whether or not that flavor comes in the listed strengths. The strengths do not mean MG per bottle but rather MG per ML.

  • None = 0 mg.
  • Very Smooth = 1.5mg (Direct lung vaping/Subohming territory).
  • Soft = 3mg (Direct lung vaping/Subohming territory).
  • Light = 6mg is approx equivalent to smoking 10 light cigarettes a day.
  • Medium = 12mg is where MTL territory starts and this strength is best for a half a pack – a pack a day smokers.
  • Strong = 18mg should be used by people who find 12mg too less or who smoked a pack of hard cigarettes a day.
  • Very Strong = 24mg is not usually available in the market but some local blenders might make a custom strength flavor for you on request. Bear in mind this is a very high level of nicotine and usually 18mg does the trick. In case you are wondering, this is best for chain smokers and/or those that smoke a couple of packs a day of hard cigarettes.

Final Thoughts on Heisenberg by Vampire Vapes

Throat Hit : The higher the score, the smoother the flavor.

10/10 – Well yes, it was smooth but almost every menthol flavor is.

Flavor Accuracy: A high score here means that the flavor’s taste matches the manufacturer’s claimed flavor description. Basically if it says its mango cream and tastes like mango cream then it gets a 10.

NA/10 – “The Heisenberg eliquid is a secret recipe that can only be described as the daddy of all day vapes. You’ll love the fruity undertone and a cool after sensation that will leave you wanting more and more.”  No rating for Heisenberg because the description stays mum over what the flavor actually is but the cool sensation hit way before the fruity undertone.

Menthol: Rating of menthol levels in menthol flavors. A rating of 10 means very high and 1 means a slight hint of menthol.

10/10 – The menthol was too high for my liking leaving me able to bear only a hit or two at higher watts before I was forced to lower the wattage range again. Depending on your preference and tolerance this can make or break the flavor for you.

Go for it: If you like menthol blends, If you like unique tasting menthol berry based flavors.

You have read my attempts at figuring out what the flavor tastes like but I’ll break it down into simpler terms. It sometimes comes off as a cross between that blue colored strepsil tablet and chewing saunf but sometimes it feels like I’m vaping a very unique blueberry and black currant based menthol flavor. Will you like it? Honestly I’m not sure. The flavor is unique and should definitely appeal to many taste buds. Heck, I’m not one to vape flavors that don’t appeal to me more than necessary for the review but here I vaped almost 30ml. Definitely not an ADV for me but a flavor that’s not your typical simple menthol blend. Fancy words aside you are the best judge so go ahead and taste the flavor before buying.
