Nasty recently came with a new line up in their Cushman series. Cushman is the name of their Mango flavor in their original fruity line up which was a hit because of the amazing accuracy of their fruit flavorings. The latest series is sort of an attempt to cash in on the success of the cushman flavor by launching variations of the mango flavor with another fruit added in for more depth. There are three different varieties as far as I am aware but for the purposes of this review we will be looking at Banana Mango. Before we begin there is something I want to highlight that struck me as a funny way for nasty to promote the level of fruit accuracy their flavors are known for; on the bottle it says “Real Mango with Banana inside.” Nicely done, Nasty.
*Cushman Banana Mango by Nasty – 3 mg*
Two RDAs with a single and dual coils each.
All setups use Rayon as I find that gives a cleaner taste with a short break in time.
Coils are everything from standard coils to fancy fused clapton coils and when possible Coils by Afzal Hanif.
Lower watts (Below 4v)
Nice levels of menthol followed by a sweet taste of mango with banana (like the green colored jelly by Rafhan banana) taste right at the end.
Conclusion: Nothing much to say, the flavor comes through nicely.
Higher watts (Above 4v)
Very impressive that even at this range the menthol remains at a very pleasing level. Kudos!! A very sweet mango with banana only noticeable at the end, I mean right at the end, when you smack your lips.
Conclusion: Rack up the sweetness and taste of the two fruits with menthol at perfect strength levels.

Check your favorite vendors as well as it is likely they stock this flavor as well.
In case some of you are new and dont know what nicotine strength to get just go through the list below and decide. Not every flavor is available in every nicotine strength however and the best way to find out is to ask the vendor. This list will be present in every review from now on regardless of whether or not that flavor comes in the listed strengths. The strengths do not mean MG per bottle but rather MG per ML.
- None = 0 mg.
- Very Smooth = 1.5mg (Direct lung vaping/Subohming territory).
- Soft = 3mg (Direct lung vaping/Subohming territory).
- Light = 6mg is approx equivalent to smoking 10 light cigarettes a day.
- Medium = 12mg is where MTL territory starts and this strength is best for a half a pack – a pack a day smokers.
- Strong = 18mg should be used by people who find 12mg too less or who smoked a pack of hard cigarettes a day.
- Very Strong = 24mg is not usually available in the market but some local blenders might make a custom strength flavor for you on request. Bear in mind this is a very high level of nicotine and usually 18mg does the trick. In case you are wondering, this is best for chain smokers and/or those that smoke a couple of packs a day of hard cigarettes.
Final Thoughts on Cushman Banana Mango by Nasty
Throat Hit : The higher the score, the smoother the flavor.
10/10 – Smooth!
Flavor Accuracy: A high score here means that the flavor’s taste matches the manufacturer’s claimed flavor description. Basically if it says its mango cream and tastes like mango cream then it gets a 10.
10/10 – “Mixture of Banana and Mango creates an exclusive taste that will definitely blow your mind! The taste would still lingers even right after you blow it.” No questions as to Malaysian fruit flavor accuracy. In my experience I have found that if a Malaysian flavor says it has a particular fruit then it defintely will taste like it.
Menthol: Rating of menthol levels in menthol flavors. A rating of 10 means very high and 1 means a slight hint of menthol.
10/10 – Perfectly tolerable levels of menthol that fall in the middle of the spectrum.
Go for it: If you like menthol blends, If you like mango and banana flavors, If you are a fan of malaysian fruity blends.
I definitely love the banana end note but I would have preferred banana to have more of a proper role then being relegated to end note status. Banana is a good creamy sweet flavor and deserves more of the spotlight. That being said, nasty did a brilliant job with the menthol, they do mention that this series is Low Mint and right fully so. I only have two issues with the flavor however and they both are connected. 1. The flavor is too sweet (much more than Donkey Kahn in my opinion) and sometimes it just feels like I ate some mango candy because my throat has that sweet taste stuck in it. 2. Because it’s so sweet I expected some level of coil gunk and was not disappointed. Not a deal breaker for rebuildables but maybe something to be wary off if using subohm tanks. Images showing the gunk with just half the bottle vaped over a period of a few days at varying watts.
