Dinner Lady recently launched their new line called Tuck Shop where the common theme is ‘SWEET’. Tuck shop flavors are all very sweet which is bad news for coil life purposes, subohm tank users might do well to say away is all im sayin. I have never really considered Dinner Lady flavors all that great if Im being honest, in fact there are only 2 flavors I consider decent from dinner lady i.e. Mango tart and Berry tart (lemon tart gets an honorable mention) while the rest that I tried failed to impress me. Sweet Fusion is supposed to be a sort of mix fruit candy and Im just hoping its not too sickly sweet.
*3 mg flavor*
RDAs with a single and dual coils.
All setups use Rayon as I find that gives a cleaner taste with a short break in time.
Coils are everything from standard coils to fancy fused clapton coils and when possible Coils by Afzal Hanif.
Lower watts (Below 4v)
Nope, the flavor at this range is just plain awful. It tastes like sweet gunk with a hint (just a hint) of fruity candy.
Higher watts (Above 4v)
Much more sweeter at this range and you can easily tell its one of those chewable candy type……….candies. The fruit taste isnt all that great, its more on the side of the cheap fruit candies that make you wonder how high the company was when they finalized the taste for mixed fruits cause it tastes nothing like it.
I dont hate sweet flavors, in fact Ive been told the flavors I like are on the sweeter side than what some people prefer but Sweet fusion makes even my taste buds curl from the sweetness overdose. I recently reviewed some candy flavors from IVG and while they were sweet, they didnt reach levels that made me question my sanity. Sweet fusion tastes like a weird ass fruit toffee (its what candy is referred to locally here) where the fruit tastes like nothing you have ever tried before. Maybe the Dinner lady based this on a candy popular in the UK but where nostalgia might make the flavor sell there, I dont see this reaching such great heights here.

In case some of you are new and dont know what nicotine strength to get just go through the list below and decide. Not every flavor is available in every nicotine strength however and the best way to find out is to ask the vendor. This list will be present in every review from now on regardless of whether or not that flavor comes in the listed strengths. The strengths do not mean MG per bottle but rather MG per ML.
- None = 0 mg.
- Very Smooth = 1.5mg (Direct lung vaping/Subohming territory).
- Soft = 3mg (Direct lung vaping/Subohming territory).
- Light = 6mg is approx equivalent to smoking 10 light cigarettes a day.
- Medium = 12mg is where MTL territory starts and this strength is best for a half a pack – a pack a day smokers.
- Strong = 18mg should be used by people who find 12mg too less or who smoked a pack of hard cigarettes a day.
- Very Strong = 24mg is not usually available in the market but some local blenders might make a custom strength flavor for you on request. Bear in mind this is a very high level of nicotine and usually 18mg does the trick. In case you are wondering, this is best for chain smokers and/or those that smoke a couple of packs a day of hard cigarettes.
Final Thoughts on Sweet Fusion by Dinner Lady
Throat Hit : The higher the score, the smoother the flavor.
10/10 – Smooth.
Flavor Accuracy: A high score here means that the flavor’s taste matches the manufacturer’s claimed flavor description. Basically if it says its mango cream and tastes like mango cream then it gets a 10.
04/10 – “A burst of chewy fruits. This multicoloured sweet sensation is sure to excite your taste buds“. When they say fruits, I expect something that tastes remotely like a fruit or a variation of. When I got that somewhat sort of fruit like taste, the only reason I called it fruit was because thats what the flavor description boasted it was. I wont give it any points higher than this.
Menthol: Rating of menthol levels in menthol flavors. A rating of 10 means very high and 1 means a slight hint of menthol.
-/10 – Not a menthol flavor.
Go for it: If you like dessert flavors. If you like custards and/or a unique custard flavor.
