Dinner Lady Range

Dinner Lady Flavors Part 1

Hey everyone, its been ages since our last review and I cant wait to get started again. So, I decided what better way to do so than by reviewing some flavors I was sent directly by Dinner Lady UK. Most, if not all, of you should know dinner lady very well by now. Introduced in Pakistan by Vaporsloft, Dinner Lady was the first UK brand to take off in Pakistan with flavors from the tart series wowing the vapers with a sweet tooth and Sun Tan Mango making more than a few people go crazy over it. Honestly, that is the sort of customer every vendor wants for their line of flavors and having a few of those is basically a testament to how good/loved their flavors are

Testing setups

*3 mg Nicotine Strength*

RDAs/RTAs with a single and dual coils.

All setups use Rayon as I find that gives a cleaner taste with a short break in time.

Coils are everything from standard coils to fancy fused clapton coils.

Bubble Trouble

Dinner Lady Range Bubble Trouble

“It’s so good you’ll be chewing your clouds. The iconic flavour of tuck shop bubble-gum.”

Dinner lady’s variation of bubblegum is in stark difference to the IVG variation. While the latter is a smooth, sweet and slightly minty imitation that ticks all the boxes; the dinner lady bubble trouble flavor comes in more forcefully with a harsh hit, strong bubblegum notes and a fairly strong sweetness with no mint or menthol included. What do I mean by bubble gum notes? Have you ever had a standard gum flavoured…….gum? Usually the cheap local ones in pink or white, that’s the taste you get here. It’s a good accurate flavor for those looking to vape gum but I do think some menthol would have helped invigorate the taste.

Lemon Sherbet

Dinner Lady Range Lemon Sherbet

The classic lemon boiled sweet. Enter a citrus explosion of sour and tangy goodness.”

It’s a safe bet to say that lemon flavors have been figured out to the point where it’s harder than ever to find a bad one. Dinner lady is no exception to that rule, from their lemon tart flavor (which was brilliantly done) to lemon sherbet, they both are incredible lemon based flavors. I usually dont like lemon flavors but I have to hand it to dinner lady because lemon sherbet has been prepared nicely. Right off the inhale you get a moderately sweet lemon burst that carries a minor throat hit which actually is enjoyable. No major harshness to speak off and the lemon as well as the sweetness is not overpowering either. All in all, a good lemon based flavor.

Berry Blast

Dinner Lady Range Berry Blast

“A blast of cherries paired with a hint of raspberry. This cherry berry magic mix will blow your mind.”

Don’t let the name fool you, although the flavor is named Berry Blast it only has two discernible berries going for it. Raspberries and Cherries, the holy grail of berries that put off a majority of the people in Pakistan primarily because of the raspberry and cherry flavor medicines so commonly given to us in our childhood. That said, this flavor wonderfully merges the two to give you a perfect combination of both berries meaning its a horror show if you hate these berries but a Godsend if you love them. Personally, the first few drags really put me off mostly because when I think berry based flavor I imagine Vimto or BlvkFrznberries which according to me is the best way to do berries. But, as I kept vaping the flavor I began thinking it was actually somewhat enjoyable and that many of you might actually really like it. So, go on and try it at your local vape shop.

Nicotine Ratios

In case some of you are new and dont know what nicotine strength to get just go through the list below and decide. Not every flavor is available in every nicotine strength however and the best way to find out is to ask the vendor. This list will be present in every review from now on regardless of whether or not that flavor comes in the listed strengths. The strengths do not mean MG per bottle but rather MG per ML.

  • None = 0 mg.
  • Very Smooth = 1.5mg (Direct lung vaping/Subohming territory).
  • Soft = 3mg (Direct lung vaping/Subohming territory).
  • Light = 6mg is approx equivalent to smoking 10 light cigarettes a day.
  • Medium = 12mg is where MTL territory starts and this strength is best for a half a pack – a pack a day smokers.
  • Strong = 18mg should be used by people who find 12mg too less or who smoked a pack of hard cigarettes a day.
  • Very Strong = 24mg is not usually available in the market but some local blenders might make a custom strength flavor for you on request. Bear in mind this is a very high level of nicotine and usually 18mg does the trick. In case you are wondering, this is best for chain smokers and/or those that smoke a couple of packs a day of hard cigarettes.

Note
I was given these flavors by Dinner Lady UK for the purposes of this review. The views expressed above are my own and based on my personal experience and knowledge accumulated over the years I have spent vaping. They are to be taken as it is i.e. an opinion and do not represent anything else. As always remember taste is subjective and please practice safe vaping.
